UX Designer

Job description

Payconiq is a payment company featuring our mobile payment app which enables users to pay via QR code in shops and online. We are steadily growing a strong presence in the BENELUX area and we have a rich roadmap to conquer Europe.

We have 95 people with 40 nationalities on the team and we work together on a daily basis to transform the world of payments. In fact, it is our mission to become the most wanted mobile payment connection in all of Europe.

We stand for making bold decisions to enhance user experience, being human as that is the real core of our business, doing things simply as life is already complicated enough, keeping it playful, and always staying honest.

In order to strengthen our Design Team of 4, we are looking to add an extraordinary Mobile UX Designer who will be responsible for giving our app users the best experience they can give!

It will be your challenge to change the behaviour of our customers from use of cash & cards to that of mobile QR payments. It won't be easy, but it will be rewarding! You will design new payment products and services, value added services like loyalty, improve onboarding, and of course make our app fun to use; all while providing a secure and safe environment.

As our Mobile UX Designer, you will have two main focuses

  1. Work on prototypes for future products and services (and yes you need to test them to make sure our users love them).
  2. Make perfect wireframes and documented flows for our developers.

What you will do at Payconiq

  • Apply service design techniques to recognise and understand customer’s needs
  • Create Prototypes and set up usability experiments
  • Translate user stories and ideas into concepts
  • Improve your concept with stakeholders and developers
  • Optimise existing user flows
  • Update your knowledge about UX

What you need to get this job

  • High standard of discretion and integrity
  • Full-time available (40 hours per week)
