Our ecosystem is expanding rapidly, with more and more banks, acquirers, PSPs and large retailers integrating with our platform.

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Product Manager to help us to continuously improve our products and services, define our next growth vector and support our key customers from a product offering perspective. This is a key role in a fast-growing company reporting into the Head of Product.


What you'll do as a Product Manager at Payconiq:

  • Hands-on involvement in all stages of the product lifecycle: customer journeys, ideation, analysis, prioritization, implementation, go-to-market, evaluation
  • Drive new product ideation together with Product Owners, internal & external partners
  • Conduct analysis on new ideas
    • business case
    • impact analysis (legal / compliance, operational, pricing, risk, etc.)
    • end-to-end process overview
    • product description
  • Maintain a structured and coherent product portfolio
  • Assess the performance of our product portfolio
  • Define our long-term product roadmap
  • Make sure the Payconiq product portfolio is at least on par with market evolutions
  • Act as a thought leader, represent Payconiq externally
  • Support partners with product related questions (mainly pre-sales)
  • Foster a close collaboration with
    • Product Owners as direct colleagues
    • Customer Support, IT, and other internal stakeholders
    • Key customers and partners

Requirements

In order to be considered for this position, you will need to have:

  • 6-10 years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in the payments sector, covering multiple areas: issuing, acquiring, processing, mobile, SCT, Instant Payment, card payments, schemes, common technologies
  • Experience working with financial institutions or processors
  • Thorough understanding and working experience of Agile development practices
  • Knowledge of the regulatory framework impacting the payments domain: PSD2, AML, GDPR
  • Awareness of the demands of a 24*7*365 high availability/high-performance service and infrastructure
  • Analytical mindset
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Natural collaborator, entrepreneurship
  • Good English language skills are essential, Dutch would be considered an advantage
